As women, we go through many metamorphoses in our lifetimes, each one with more intensity than the one before and each one designed to help us grow and move to a higher level in consciousness and self-empowerment. As an Empowerment Coach, my charge is to inspire women to 'get in the game' and rediscover the art and power of her authentic self, embrace her personal power, and create the life she wants. My mantra:
enlightened woman who knows who she is,
why she is at a certain place in her life, where she is going and
how to enjoy the ride!"
I parlayed my degree in fashion merchandising into a successful fashion consulting service as a personal stylist, wardrobe consultant and a personal branding strategist, providing guidance on the advantage of a woman achieving her own image identity and developing her own personal brand. I also provided individual coaching to numerous private clients on personal packaging, wardrobe engineering and group workshops and clinics on figure dressing and personal style.
I transitioned from consulting to an ‘image-making’ career at a Chicago advertising agency as an Operations Manager and Model Scout. There, I supervised production print shoots and film and broadcast projects (print & billboard ads, 60-second TV Commercials) and prepped models for hair color packaging shoots.
I’ve recently published a book entitled, YOU ARE THE ONE YOU'RE LOOKING FOR: Freedom from the Relationship Drama to an Empowered New You! A book written to motivate and coach today’s woman to embrace the qualities that make her special and unique and apply them as an asset to become ALL she is meant to be. The book is based on the premise that:
there’s no time to be who she is!”
My writing background includes more than a decade of experience in print journalism. My articles on fashion, beauty and image have appeared in numerous daily and weekly newspapers in Louisville, Atlanta and Chicago, as well as in national monthly publications.
I have designed and facilitated workshops on Poise, Polish & Purpose for ex-offenders and at the Warrenville, IL Juvenile Correctional Center for Girls.
